Questions we hear most
Is NEET compulsory for MBBS in Russia?
Yes, if you plan to practise in India afterwards. NMC requires Indian students to qualify NEET‑UG before taking admission abroad. The minimum is the 50th percentile for General and EWS candidates and the 40th for reserved categories.
Can I use my NEET 2026 result for the September 2027 intake?
Yes. NMC treats a NEET result as valid for admission abroad for three years from the date it is declared, so a 2026 result still counts for September 2027. Send us your result date and we’ll double‑check it against the current rules before you apply.
What does the full course cost?
On the 2026–27 fee sheets, tuition, basic hostel and medical insurance at our five dollar‑billed universities come to $22,500 to $39,000 for all six years. Tver publishes in rubles. A one‑time administrative charge and first‑year Indian mess are payable on top, and medical check‑up and visa‑extension fees are not included. Each university’s page lists every line.
Can the fees change?
Yes. The figures on this page come from the 2026–27 fee sheets, and fees for the September 2027 intake may be revised. Dollar fees are converted at the prevailing exchange rate (₹94 to the dollar in the current sheets). Tver, for example, may raise charges by up to 5 % from the second year. We confirm current figures with you before you pay anything.
Will my degree be valid in India?
A foreign MBBS lets you practise in India only after you clear the licensing exam (currently the FMGE) and complete the internship NMC requires. NMC’s rules also set conditions on course length, medium of instruction and where you do your internship. We share what each university states about its status, and we recommend checking it against the latest NMC notices before you decide.
Is the course really taught in English?
Yes, the MBBS programmes are taught in English. Picking up Russian along the way still helps in daily life and, later, with patients during hospital rotations.
Where will I live, and what will I eat?
In university hostels. Several universities keep separate hostels for Indian students, with common kitchens and 24/7 Wi‑Fi. Indian mess is available at five of our six universities and is mandatory in the first year. At Tver, government hostel places depend on availability, and a private hostel is an option.
When should I apply?
The next intake is September 2027. Seats, documents and visas all take time, so starting early gives you room to compare options. Message us your NEET result and we will tell you where you stand.
